Hebei International Cooperation Conference of China-Interlocal Organization Exchange Seminar was grandly held by HBEDA at the Hebei Hall on 20-21, September with its title as "Global communication, mutual development."
This seminar was co-sponsored by HBEDA, All India Association of Industries, Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Association Amitie Euro-Chinoise, and assisted by Huanneng Power International Inc. Shijiazhuang Corp., Shijiazhuang Tobacco Factory, and Hebei Economy Daily Newspaper Office. The participants include: vice-secretary of Hebei provincial government Yu Wankui, the president assistant of HBEDA Hao Hongzhi, the secretary of HBEDA Liu Jianjun, the secretary of Association Amitie Euro-Chi noise Lin Gensheng, the executive chairman of All India Association of Industries Ms. Rupa·Naik, Mr. Suvro·Chandra from Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Cui Yuanzhi from Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce. We have invited 4 foreign chambers of commerce, about 20 foreign delegates from foreign enterprises, as well as 150 representatives from about 120 provincial enterprises. This seminar contains dozens of industries such as machinery, textiles, chemicals, construction, pharmacy and so on. With "serving the enterprises and expanding communication" as our principle, HBEDA charged nothing to all of the member enterprises.
This meeting was presided by secretary of HBEDA Mr. Liu Jianjun, and vice-secretary of Hebei provincial government Yu Wankui delivered a speech on behalf of Hebei provincial government. And delegates from All India Association of Industries, Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Association Amitie Euro-Chi noise presented precise and excellent introductions respectively according to their local resources and related industrial policy. Afterwards, representatives from Mathews, Co., Event Management Group, Ocean Peak PTY Ltd., Yamai Fashions PVT Ltd. and Plaso India gave brief introductions in terms of key projects.
The negotiation meeting officially began at 2 pm., on Sep. 20th. Hebei Xinhe, Xinzuan Co. Ltd. and Hebei Jinhuan Packaging Co., Ltd. showed an initial willingness of cooperation with their foreign counterparts after a deep and meticulous communication, and both sides wanted a further discussion. At the same time, All India Association of Industries made an on-the-spot investigation to Hebei Jinhuan Packaging Co., Ltd.
In order to meet the various requirements of different enterprises, the closing ceremony began at 4 pm. ahead of time. Vice general manager Zhang Honglei of Hebei Xinhe, Xinzuan Co. Ltd., chairman of board of Hebei Jinyuan Chemical Shares Co. Ltd., Yu Mochen, the executive chairman of All India Association of Industries Ms. Rupa·Naik, along with General manager of Daffodil Nursing Home PVT. Ltd. Robin·Sarkar and General manager of Plaso India Mr. Virek· Surana expressed their impressions about the seminar. Ms Rupa·Naik said:"This seminar is the model of all the other Chinese associations no matter in terms of its organization form or the fruitful result of the meeting. As the representative of folk associations aiming at international way of development, HBEDA has made an initiation of organizing such activities, and has made a great success. In future, we hope to strengthen the cooperation and expand communication between us." Meanwhile, she hoped that members of HBEDA could go to India to have an investigation and negotiation in person, when she would arrange receptions for the delegates. Representatives, from both home and abroad, all said that they got fruitful achievements, and were honored to be invited to this seminar. Finally, they showed their heartfelt thanks to the sponsor and hoped that HBEDA and foreign chambers of commerce would strengthen cooperation, broaden the coordinated field and expand the influence, through which enterprises from both home and abroad can truly make global cooperation and gain mutual development.
At last, the vice president of HBEDA and chairman of Hebei Xibaipo Development Co.Ltd. Mr Liu Huitang gave the closing speech, and presented souvenirs to All India Association of Industries, Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Association Amitie Euro-Chi noise on behalf of HBEDA. The meeting was ended in a friendly, warm, and harmonious atmosphere.
On the morning of 21th,September, some of our members of HBEDA had another negotiation with All India Association of Industries, Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Association Amitie Euro-Chi noise, and accompanied the foreign guests to visit the high-tech and newly-developed industrial area of Shijiazhuang. Leaders of that area made a brief account about the industrial area. Seeing the advanced model of management in the area as well as the high level of technology, foreign guests spoke highly of our economic development. This tour displayed our great potentiality of Hebei economic development.
At noon of Sep. 21st, a grant farewell feast was arranged. Foreign businessmen all said they would come to Hebei again, because they saw great business opportunities here.
Although the seminar was short in time, it’s fruitful in achievement. This seminar not only opens a window for enterprises to get the trade information, strengthen communication and expand cooperation, but also broadens our eyesight. Besides, we have showed our provincial economic strength and potentiality, conveyed the policy here in time, through which we can attract more investment from abroad and set up a new image of a metropolitan city for Shijiazhuang in the international trade activities. Similarly, as the organizer of this seminar, HBEDA gained a lot. We eventually set ourselves on the road of outward association, and we will make a new milestone in the foreign communications for folk association in China.
